Unveiling of portrait of H M The Queen
commissioned by The Foreign & Commonwealth Office
The Queen attended the first virtual unveiling of a new portrait of her, painted by Miriam Escofet, the winner of the 2018 BP Portrait Award. Unveiled with Sir Simon McDonald who commissioned the work for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as a “lasting tribute to Her Majesty’s service” to diplomacy.
